THE HOMESTAY AND HOTELS
Homestay in villages is simple in term of bedding condition and amenities. We will stay in the traditional-stilt-house of the Thai people and, as the locals do, we will sleep on the bamboo floor with mattress, clean sheet, pillows and mosquito nets. Toilet is usually western style.
Our hotel is the top rated 3 star standard at each stop with breakfast included. Twin/double room sharing.
THE BIKING DAY
A typical biking day starts at about 8.30 am after breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the distance. We aim to reach the next overnight stop by 4.30 or 5. During the biking we will have plenty short breaks for rest, snack and photographing.
Depending on the distance and the terrain the biking day can be part-drive part-ride or riding the whole way.
On this tour we use high-end mountain bikes with different sizes. Biking helmets of good quality are also provided.
The bikes often are:
++ Specialized Hardrock Sport (brand USA) assembled in Taiwan with 27-speed (3 levels, 9 speed each), manufactured in 2012 with size S, M, L, XL, XXL applied for customer height from 1,55m - 2,00m.
++ Giant Revel 24 speed (with 3 levels, 8 speed each), manufactured in Taiwan in 2013 with size S, M, L, XL customers' height 1,55m to 1,95 m.
